To the island undiscovered

Is where I’ll be a-headin’

No tv’s or cell phone service

At my destination

Just me drifting freely by

My island undiscovered

Floating, flying through the sky

With the island’s birds

Where my soul will embark, my spirit will grow

My mind it will meditate

In this ascent, my heart - it slows,

and bluntly, hesitates

What am I supposed to do

When there’s only me, and there’s no you?

Just me, the sea, a few palm trees,

and the golden beach

So come along, won’t you please?

To start a two-man fleet

It won’t be no journey

if I set out on my own

I’d rather be a-hurryin’ back

instead to steer on home.
